Hi could you introduce yourself?

My name is Luna (@coding.woman.dz) I'm from Algeria and I am a full stack developer in a Parisian company. I'm graduated in IT research and I wrote scientific papers. I did a professional retraining in web development 2 years ago.

What are your goals ?

My goal is to inspire more women to do tech jobs.

What’s the best way to keep up to date with what you’re doing ?

I am subscribed to the newsletter of the technologies that interest me, I follow on twitter and linkedin the official accounts of my favourite technologies and their creators and developers.

I also join official slack/discord tech groups, for example, reactJS has a discord account where they publish all the new features of the framework and developers from all the world can discuss with creators.

What tips would you give to someone wanting to break into tech ?

The most pleasant thing is that you will surely find something that you like, there are so many fields, so many professions that you will surely find a passion.

My biggest advice is that you have to practice a lot and love the project you are working on because the programming takes a lot of time and if you are not passionate about the project you will quickly give up or produce poor work.

TechTwoX is here to celebrate women in Tech.

We aim to tell the stories of remarkable female talent.
